Economy has limited impact on domestic car purchases
Despite unprecedented economic turmoil, many people are still looking for new cars and in connection with their big purchase will likely be shopping around for auto insurance quotes.
The economic crisis is having an impact on both businesses and consumers, with one of the hardest hit being the auto industry. But some consumers are saying that the financial woes of the U.S. automakers will not affect their decision to buy an American-made car.
A new survey from Cars.com shows that 59 percent of respondents are not letting the financial situation of the U.S. carmakers affect their next car purchase.
In fact, many in the market for a new car and a new car insurance plan are even enticed by some of the offers from car makers which are offering reassurances should a buyer’s job be cut.
Nearly 30 percent of the survey respondents say manufacturer assurance programs are a top reason compelling them to buy a new car.
An increasing number of consumers may also be interested in obtaining car insurance quotes if they opt to take advantage of any one of the many carmaker assurance program incentives currently being offered.
