Insurance agents in demand in New Jersey
Consumers hunting for cheap auto insurance are driving hiring increase.
As the nation comes to grip with the latest unemployment figures, one New Jersey auto insurance company is looking for more employees.
Today the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the economy lost 539,000 more jobs and the national unemployment rate ticked up to 8.9 percent. Workers in manufacturing, construction and retail continue to suffer.
But one New Jersey-based auto insurance company is looking for eight new employees to staff its sales center responsible for selling car insurance and other plans. Given all of the other uncertainties in the market today, individuals may be nervous about what their current insurance plans include.
One current agent said that car insurance is one important item on household budgets where families may be able to save money, and it is necessary to have informed agents available to answer questions and offer quotes.
